Hi Folks!
Following is a message from a dear Sister in our home Church. Upon reading it I thought it would be appropriate to include as this particular Ps Heart message. The heart of what the Lord has shown her has been what many of us here at home and abroad have been feeling. Our God is good and always willing to help us when we come up to the plate and do our part. It's time to arise as God's end time army and allow the Master to help us become all that He has desired us to be. I'm sure this message will minister to you as it did me.

God bless you!

David

On Sunday morning of the 6th November, 2006 I was spending time with the Lord, I needed encouragement this day and this is what he shared with me……………

Have a passion for Christ and a passion to endure till the end.
Those that overcome will inherit the Kingdom of God.

A passion for Christ wasn’t a problem, but to endure, I was struggling with. So I started studying, looking up words that related to endure. (endurance, endured, perseverance, persevere). It was very interesting what I found as I searched this out. As I studied this out the Lord also shared some words with me that also explained what he wanted me to know, by his Spirit.

So here we go………..

Endurance = the capacity to keep going or put up with pain, hardship, for a long time.
Endured = to bear, stand to suffer patiently.
- to put up with - tolerate.
- to remain and continue.
- stay purposed.
- to hold out under suffering - trials.
- built to endure.
- built to overcome in every circumstance.
- never giving up, no matter what.

These are the qualities that we are to have.

Manufacturers put their products to the test, they put these products through adverse conditions to see if the product can pass the test, so then it can be put on the market and be used for a length of time. Can it last the distance? Race horses are the same. Their trainers put them through training to see where they are at and what they are ready for.. are they capable of running the race? God is no different to this. He puts us through intense training. Armed forces are the same. The soldiers are put through intense training, to see what they are capable of.
“You wouldn’t put a new recruit on the front line.” “God works the same way.”
We are training to be in God’s army. He is looking for General’s and new recruits. Are you going to be one of them? Are you going to pass the test and last the distance?

Perseverance = The quality of being persistent and persevering.
= Continuing in a state of grace leading to a state of glory.
Persevere = to try hard and continue, in spite of obstacles and difficulties.

1 Corinthians 13:7&8 says, Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance. Love will last forever...

Endures = To hold ones ground in conflict, bear up against adversity, hold out under stress, stand firm, persevere under pressure, wait calmly and courageously.

He who endures till the end shall be saved. Matthew 24:13

Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.
James 1:12 (Message)

Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life.
(Amp. Bible) - Blessed (happy to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive (the victor’s) crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Hebrews 10:36

We see here, that God has promises for us, but it is up to us what we do with these promises. Are we going to hear and do what the Word of God says, endure, persevere, stand firm, grit our teeth and hold on, when we are going through a trial, or, are we going to faint, give up and cave in and quit? I have been through many testing, teeth gritting times and the only thing that has kept me going is the Word of God, trusting in His promises and doing what it says. There is nothing and no-one that can sustain us in hard times other than the Word of God and our trust in Him and His promises.

So if you are going through something right now, go to the Word of God and find some promises from God in that area and write them down and meditate on them and speak (declare) those promises out of your mouth and believe in your heart that God wants to do that for you. And see that area change in your life. Also the Word of God says if you lack wisdom in an area ask of God and He will liberally give you the information you need to be free in that area of your life. Life is a journey, so remember when you're free in that area God will reveal to you the next one to deal with. From faith to faith, glory to glory, journey to journey. So be encouraged... God has a plan for your life, he knows what it is, just keep on keeping on and he will do it!

A few more promises before we finish.

He who overcomes shall inherit (will receive) all things, and I will be His God and he shall be My Son. Revelation 21:7

All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life, but I will announce before my Father and His angels that they are mine. Revelation 3:5 (NLT)

At the end of Revelation chapter 2 in the Message Bible it says:
Hold on to the truth you have until I get there.
“Here’s the reward I have for every conqueror, everyone who keeps at it, refusing to give up; You’ll rule the nations, your Shepherd-King rule as an iron stall, their resistance fragile as clay pots. This was the gift my Father gave me; I pass it along to you--and with it, the Morning Star!!
“Are your ears awake? Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches.”

“Because you have obeyed my command to persevere, I will protect you from the great time of testing that will come upon the world to test those who belong to this world. Look, I am coming quickly. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown. All who are victorious will become pillars in the Temple of my God, and they will never have to leave it. And I will write my God’s name on them, and they will be citizens in the city of my God--the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven from my God. And they will have my new name inscribed upon them. Anyone who is willing to hear should listen to the Spirit and understand what the Spirit is saying to the churches...

Revelation 3:10 -13 (NLT)

These are just a few encouraging scriptures from Revelation chapters 2 and 3, I encourage you to read these chapters from your bible to get the fullness of what they are saying…

God is interested in our true heart condition. He is a Holy God and His Word says: Be ye Holy as I am Holy.

Unrighteousness cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. We have to be without spot or wrinkle. God is coming for a spotless, pure, holy bride. Embrace the changes, the cleaning up God is doing in our lives, He loves us and wants us to receive our Crown of Life, the Victor’s Crown. He who overcomes shall inherit the Kingdom of God…

Thank-you Father for loving us so much that you gave us Jesus, and now we are reconciled back to You to be your children, your love child.

In Jesus Name, Amen.
