Hi Folks!

I hope you are doing well as we are here in the Pearce family. It’s a joy to be happily married to a wonderful lady and to be blessed with three great sons from the Lord. God my Father has been so good to me and I am eternally grateful. I am looking forward to a glorious future in the days to come as I continue to live my life for Jesus.

Do you desire to be successful? I sure do and I’m certain you want this also. Maybe you’re doing well already, but there is always room for improvement isn’t there? The closer our walk with the Lord and the more we learn of His ways, the more exciting our life will become. Our life will be one of an increasing upward climb into His glorious presence and kingdom. The success He desires for us to have is in reach, but you have to keep climbing. You never arrive at the top in the Christian walk, because there is always a higher place to keep climbing.

The Lord wants you and I to be successful as our scripture today declares, but we must be sure to do it His way. To try and succeed any other way will ultimately lead us astray, and instead of climbing upwards we will be sliding backwards in our Christian journey. Jesus is Lord; He knows what’s best; and we must follow Him wholeheartedly.

Just recently the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart about 3 goals we should all have. They each are scriptural, simple and do-able. I believe with all my heart if the child of God would do these daily, success in Christ would be imminent.

I first spoke about these three principles to our leaders, of the need to be rooted and grounded in each of these and to teach them to the new Believers…

1. Prayer
2. The Word
3. The Local Church

These three goals are not just a once in a while thing, but a daily commitment. The only ones that succeed in Jesus’ kingdom are the “disciples”. A disciple means “a disciplined one”. Jesus was disciplined in these areas and we must act like Him also if we are to be like Him. As the Word declares…

Do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience (endurance and consistency) inherit the promises
Hebrews 6:12

Much can be said about each of these three topics and I will explain each one in more detail shortly. Please be prayerful about what the Lord will have you understand about these most fundamental, but profound instructions found in His perfect will – the Word.

God bless you!

David
