Hi Folks!
"The Holy Spirit is about to move!" The Lord said that
to me recently in a prayer meeting. Praise God that's exciting isn't it?
I have been desiring to see God pour out His precious Holy Spirit in our
midst and I'm sure you have too. Better news though is the Father has been
wanting this even more than us! He wants to reveal Himself to His people
right now, and not only to us but to the whole world!
I mentioned earlier this year that 2004 has been prophesied as the “Year of Fullness”. Our earth is filling up (becoming full) right now with both good and evil at the same time.
The darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:2
God's judgments have begun, and they will be fully released in the earth before Jesus returns and commences His Millennial Reign. It's time for the Church to awaken from its slumber, and to arise and shine with the Glory of the Lord. It's time to prepare ourselves for the great end time move of the Holy Spirit.
I have wanted to see more of the workings of God in my life this year, and I have to say, to a point I believe I have. I don't know about you but I seem to be learning so much about the Kingdom of God this year. Revelation knowledge has been flowing like a river to me and to anyone else who has tapped into it. For me though more than anything else, God has been dealing with me about heart attitudes. David, how much of what you are doing is for Me? Are you living your life for Me or for yourself? Son, how about what you are doing right now; is it to please Me, to please other people, or is it to please you? How much of Me do you want in your life? Son, you are always as close to Me as you want to be!
Remember the scriptures…
He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him Hebrews 11:6
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you James 4:8
How much of God do you really want? How much do you want Him to be involved in your life? How much do you desire to be filled with His fullness?
The finding is found in the seeking, and having the Lord draw near is the result of us drawing near. As I just mentioned, we have as much of the Lord in our lives as we have desired. If you truly desire more of God, you will be found as one who is seeking the Lord every day and drawing near to Him. Enoch walked with God, so how much more do you think we should walk close to the Master since his Holy Spirit lives within us!
God not only wants to walk with us, but to fill us with His fullness! His perfect plan is to fill the earth with His Glory, and guess how He plans on doing it? That's right you got it, through you and me! He wants us to be so full of His goodness and presence that we overflow with it. 2005 has been prophesied as the Year of Overflow and we only have a short time left in 2004. So, how about you and I draw near to God and get full.
Lets look at some scriptures.
John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received...
This happened when you and I got born again by receiving Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour. Our spirit was recreated and the Holy Spirit came to live within us. His fullness is available to every believer.
Ephesians 3:17-19 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
You will notice in both Eph 1:15-23 & Eph 3:17-19 that these are Spirit inspired prayers, proving the will of our Father - to have us filled with His fullness. Let's look at portions of two more Bible prayers.
Phil 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Col 1:9 since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
Christ Jesus is the head and we (the Church) are His body. The Word declares we have been created in Him.
Col 2:9-10 In him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, Who is the head of all principality and power.
Praise God that’s awesome!
Acts 17:28 For in Him we live and move and have our being.
Folks, Christ is in us and we’re headed for Glory! (see Col
1:27) It’s time we live for Jesus like never before. The
Holy Spirit is about to move in our midst so lets make sure we have made
ourselves ready.
