Hi Folks!
Well here we are again. With this message we have come to the end of our Faith Walk series. I must apologize for having taken some weeks in getting these last couple of messages to you. It's been eight weeks since I finished ministering this in Church and we have moved onto other things. I'll endeavor to keep these messages coming and I hope they will be a blessing to you. Please give feedback to us if this is what you are after from Pastor's Heart, or whether you would like other things coming your way via your e-mail inbox. Not only are local folk receiving these messages, but literally people from around the world are becoming more interested in what us Aussies have to say. Yes we may be Australian, but the “message” is from the Lord. Jesus is our Master and it's Him we are really wanting to know, isn't it?

I love the Word of God, for this is where our faith comes from. I thought it necessary to finish the series with this subject, "Faith's Partner". There is a lot more to faith than what you may have first believed. Would I be correct in saying this? I think so, and I feel this aspect of the faith walk has been one of the most misunderstood.

Have you ever heard the saying, “There's a time period between the “amen” and the “there it is””? Sometimes things can manifest instantly in the Kingdom, but usually there is a period of "waiting" before we see the manifestation of what we are believing for. What we do in the period of "waiting" will determine if there ever will be an "amen". I've seen many of God's precious people lose the battle in this period and never see the result of their faith. I've done it myself. It takes this partnering for`3e of bible "patience", coupled with our faith to ensure we receive those things we are believing for. The moment we release our faith in any given situation is the moment Heaven hears and responds. Our faith is now out there working for us, and it's time for "patience" to have its perfect work.

The Bible says that it's through faith "and" patience we inherit the promises. Faith alone won't receive the promises. Only when patience is working with our faith can we receive. It is possible to activate heaven, have the angels of God out there working for you, and have them stop in their tracks just moments before you receive the answer to your prayer. If your faith stops - heaven stops moving on your behalf. If you stop believing - then your connection to the promise is hindered.

Faith is our connector to all of heaven's resources, and the devil would love us to give up and quit believing before receiving anything from the Lord. Galations 6:9 (NIV) exhorts us to not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. What's going to enable us to stay in faith until the answer arrives? Patience! We live in a "must have it now", "can't wait any longer" society - especially in the western world. We live in a "microwave" culture where we expect to drive past the fast food counter and receive our food within the minute. Not so in the kingdom of God. Yes, God hears and answers prayer the moment we activate our faith, but more often than not there is a period of waiting before the promise comes into our hands. We need to exercise patience where the kingdom of God is concerned.

Patience in the Bible is often translated endurance or perserverance. We need to persevere in the things of God if we are to see the results of our faith. The dictionary definition of patience is, "calm endurance of annoyance or delay etc; perserverance." Anything been annoying you lately? Have the trials and tribulations of life been mounting against you and all you feel like doing is throwing your hands in the air and quitting? I have a word from the Lord for you - don't quit!!

Faith does not get angry or impatient when challenged. True faith counts the opportunity as joy because it knows the final outcome... letting patience have its perfect work you'll be perfect and entire, lacking nothing! Through your faith and patience receive the promises of God. Don't be sluggish and lazy but keep going, don't quit or give up. Be willing to stand forever if necessary, and you'll find it won't be very long at all before your faith is doing the talking!

Folks, you have this powerful force of patience living within you right now as one of the fruits of the spirit. Exercise it, and release it's power in your life right now. The Lord Jesus Christ himself said, "In your patience possess your souls" Luke 21:19 Being patient means a lot more than just waiting awhile. It takes courage and perserverance to maintain your walk of faith with the Master. I believe you have what it takes to do it or God wouldn't have had you born in this generation. I believe in you and I know you will have the victory in all areas of life as you stay with the program. I stand by your side as your brother and friend as we walk this faith journey together.

Let me close with the words of Jesus in Luke 18:8b, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?

Yes Lord count me in!

THE FAITH WALK 11

Faith's Partner

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing..
