The Belt Of Truth

Hi Folks!

Hi soldier, are you ready to start getting dressed for success in the kingdom of God?
Firstly let's grab this belt of truth and put it on. A belt, once buckled up firmly around your waist will prevent your britches slipping down won't it?

God's truth is like that, strong and secure to the one who has found it. Like a belt in the natural realm this belt of truth will keep your spiritual britches in place. We don't want any area of our person exposed to where the enemy can get a shot at us. The armour is given to us by God for our protection, but we must wear it if we are to be protected from the enemy's fiery darts.

What is truth?

Jesus said in John ch17 in His prayer to the Father "Your Word is truth." Jesus said in John ch14 "I am the truth..." The Holy Spirit is often referred to as "The Spirit of truth". God and His Word are one and the same. God is truthful and His Words are true. You can stake your very life on it. If God said it, then that settles it! "Forever O Lord your Word is settled in heaven... Ps 119:89". Wrap yourself in the truth of God's Word like a belt is wrapped around the waist. Read the Word, listen to the Word and speak the Word of God every day. It is life and health to them that find it. It will bring clarity to your mind and it will light your pathway. If reverenced and obeyed it will bring total prosperity to every area of your life.

Job said "I treasured the Words of His mouth more than my necessary food". King David said "Oh how I love your law, it is my meditation all the day long". The Master said "If you continue in my Word you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free".
