Hi Folks!
God wants to use you for His eternal purposes on the earth! He wants to do
through you what He did through Jesus when He was on the earth. That's exciting
news isn't it? Well are you willing to let Him? Do you believe He can? Or
even better than that, do you believe He will?
I truly believe that each of you here in LWF are called to do great things for God. I believe the Lord is bringing a great revival to our Callide Valley as I know many of you do also. For this to happen at least one person has to have a revival of their own, so count me in Lord!
In the last article I talked about the necessity of being hungry for a move of God in your life. It is equally important to hunger for God to bring about the changes in your life necessary for Him to use you in the way He desires to. If we want revival in our life then we need to qualify for it. God wants to come down in our midst in great power and glory but we must be "useful" vessels. We must be the kind of instruments that He can use. There are things in our lives that we have been pursuing after, but in matter of fact we should be fleeing from. There are also things in our lives that we have been fleeing from, but should rather be pursuing if we truly want God's best. Wanting to do the things so God can move in your life, and actually going ahead and doing them can be two different things entirely. I want to take a few moments and share today just one of the things that I believe you should be going after a lot more.
Prayer.
If you want more God then you are going to have to start pursuing Him in your prayer life.
You may be thinking that you don't have enough time to pray more. Well you need to make some time available by laying aside less important stuff. After all what can be more important than a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe! He loves you and He wants to spend time with you. There is nothing in this life more exciting than to know the Master.
Secondly, praying corporately is absolutely vital in the days we are now living in! To you, Praying with other people may sound fearful, boring, I know I should but haven't got the time, I don't feel like it, etc. Let me encourage you to do whatever you possibly can to do this.
If Living Word Fellowship is your home then you need to attend the prayer meetings if you're truly serious for a move of God in our midst. Stir yourself up, be bold, be strong, be courageous and come along to these mid-week prayer meetings as the Father has need of you. Let's rally together in prayer more and more as the Great Day approaches.
