Hi Folks!
How much do you want a move of God in your life? Well, one of the starting
places for revival in your life is having a desire for it. As your pastor
I want God to visit you in a mighty way. I'm excited about it because I know
what a blessing it will be to you. I desire this for my life also.
I recently heard pastor Steve Gray talk about what happened to his church when revival came. He is often asked questions like "What has changed in your church since God has moved in this spectacular way?" He answers "Everything has changed!" The changes of course are for the better.
Does this sound like the kind of life you desire to live? Well it's available to you, so start reaching out for this life that God has promised you right now.
If your life has been dry, or if you just want more of God, then start going after Him. You make the move by starting to pursue the things of God, and your hunger will grow. Your love for Him will begin to develop and you're on your way.
Sadly though, if you pursue the things of this world more than you do the things of God then your heart will go there also. Your desire will go there and you will start hungering for the things of this world, and you will be filled. This is not what we want to happen, so saints let's go!
Jesus said when He was on the earth in John's gospel, "I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly."
Jesus will give you a life worth living... more life, more love, more peace, more joy, more than you ever dreamed possible. He will give you a prosperous life, bring health to your body, wholeness to your family, more depth to your friendships. He will put a quickness in your step, cause character to develop in your soul, and a boldness in your heart. Your enemies He will cause to fall backwards and stumble, because you will know no fear. Instead you will walk with the Master, your faithful friend who sticks closer than a brother. You will find the heart of your Father, and from deep within you will flow a burning love for your neighbour, a compassion to see that one free.
Set your minds on the things above and not on the things of this world. Seek
first His kingdom and all the other things you need or even desire will be
added to you. Keep hungering and thirsting for righteousness and you shall
be filled.
Have a great day
David
